What is Gold Filled?

Gold filled is a durable composite material made by mechanically bonding a thick outer layer of solid gold to an inner base metal core such as brass or copper, using heat and pressure. 

The Thick bond prevents and gold from flaking, peeling, or rubbing off like plating does. This allows each piece to last for decades. 

It provides the rich appearance and Hypoallergenic qualities of solid gold at a fraction of the cost.
