All metals used are hypoallergenic and nickel-free. They are sold in pairs - so you get one for each ear. You only need a single piercing in each lobe to be able to wear them. Some people prefer to wear just one, and then wear a plain stud in the other ear. You can also wear them in a top cartilage piercing (Helix Piercing).
There is a small wire bar that runs through the piercing and up the back of the lobe, keeping them in position. Ear Wings are small, lightweight and measure 3-4cm in length and 0.4cm in height.
